Overview:Supervises daily activities of Environmental Services area to ensure ongoing maintenance of clean and sanitary facilities in accordance with established standards and requirements. Oversees infection control, inspections, and scheduling to ensure the health facilities are sanitary. Assists in cleaning rooms, visitor areas, and employee areas.
Responsibilities:

• Assists the manager in supervising, monitoring, and scheduling work activities of Environmental Services workers to ensure maintenance of established sanitary and cleanliness standards.
• Reviews daily log sheets of staff to ensure adherence with established quantity and quality standards.
• Coordinates the cleaning schedule for all buildings within GRHC campus and modifies schedules as needed to address special situations.
• Ensures proper staffing by reviewing timecards and staff requests.
• Recommends staff development plans, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluation needs.
• Maintains department records and files to ensure proper and safe use of materials.
• Identifies and recommends replacement of equipment and supplies as needed.
• Performs other job-related activities as requested.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience in Environmental Services
• State of AZ Driver’s License with no significant violations during the last 5 years.
• Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
