In this way you help us, for example, to increase profitability, enable top-management decisions, and give insights into the semiconductor market development. You will support the Controlling and Strategy/M&A departments of the Power and Sensor Systems (PSS) Division in a wide range of activities.
In your new position you will take over the following:
- Monitoring and reporting the main financial and market performance indicators to enable division top management decisions
- Matching conclusions from analyzing main market performance indicators and competitor behavior with bottom up financial planning figures, providing support to planning units (Business Lines) and disclosing potential discrepancies
- Guiding and governing division planning processes and coordinating planning efforts of Business Lines – strategic as well as operational
- Analyzing division financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, CashFlow), disclosing lacks of profitability, driving conclusions and translating into top management reporting
- Supporting in strategic M&A projects
- Supporting with ad-hoc analyses for the Infineon & PSS Top Management
- In doing so, you will work very closely with the CFO of a major Infineon division

- Either a degree in economics and a strong affinity for physics and electrical engineering, or a degree in physics or electrical engineering and finance knowledge (e.g. through an MBA)
- Several years of experience in consulting, banking, market analytics or financial controlling, preferably in a large, international company
- Fun and passion to gain knowledge on semiconductor markets and financial driven interrelations and the interest to learn more about our products and the technical aspects of semiconductors
- Being able to convey complex financial topics with passion and to communicate them in a tangible way to top management as well as colleagues without a financial background
- Very good MS Excel and PowerPoint skills and an affinity for IT tools and digitalization in Finance
- Excellent German and English language skills
