What we are looking for:

In this role you will be responsible to pick components required for the sales order assembly process and build assemblies for stock as directed.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the sales order Pick Lists matches the respective SLD components list
• Print all documents and labels required for the assembly process and put together a pouch packet
• Use printed Pick Lists from sales orders to pick components using an RF scanner from inventory and deliver to the assembly line
• Process work orders for sales orders and initiate Assembly records
• Build assemblies and program modems for stock as directed
• Maintain Nonconforming inventory log and storage
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories
• Must attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company requirements.
• Meet or exceed minimum picking rate standards
• Maintaining a clean and orderly assigned work area
• Emptying trash as needed to keep work are clean of debris
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A qualified applicant will have a strong work ethic, and desire to stay busy
• Applicant will have a keen attention to detail and high tendency toward accuracy.
• Must be comfortable with computers and be able to manage spreadsheets.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately via written and verbal methods
• Must have one to three months related experience and/or training
• Flexibility, and willingness to work wherever needed is critical to this position
• Legible printing on customer and company forms.
• Applicants must be agile and mobile to carry out tasks.

Work Environment:

• Moderate to high noise levels (i.e. business office with computers, printers, moderate traffic, warehouse use of power tools)
• Ability to sit or stand (standing desk provide upon request) at a computer terminal for an extended period

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (talk/type/write) and operate a computer, keyboard, RF scanner, etc.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
• Regular, predictable attendance is required
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
• Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions

This is an hourly nonexempt position, M-F, with additional weekend work as required.

Salary Range: $18.87 – 23.00 /hour. (over 40 hrs. per week 1.5 x hourly rate)

Location: This position is based in Longmont, CO.
