What You'll Do

Gabb is looking for a superstar Staff Accountant to join our Finance team! In this role, you will report to our Corporate Controller and manage the day-to-day accounting operations such as Accounts Payable, inventory management, prepaid expenses, and more. Other responsibilities will include…

• Perform accounting close and reporting processes for month, quarter, and year-end closes
• Prepare and maintain month-end journal entries
• Support the accounts payable process to ensure proper and consistent coding and timely payments for vendors and employee expenses
• Assist in managing corporate credit card receipts, coding, and reconciling credit card statements
• Implement and manage inventory management and reconciliation process
• Enter daily bank transactions, perform cash application, and reconcile monthly bank reconciliations
• Aid in the preparation of GAAP financial statements

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 1-2 year(s) of experience in Accounting roles
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Divvy, and Brex is a plus
• Understanding of inventory management strongly preferred
• Advanced mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Experience working with venture capital companies and funding is a plus
• Experience working with B2C and ecommerce, a plus
