Position Purpose

The role of the Senior Project Superintendent is to manage new multi-family residential construction for the General Contractor by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

General Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• RFI process
• Manage all in house labor
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Prepare daily reports on project progress
• Tracking T& M work when approved by VP
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in multi-family construction management or other related fields
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Familiarity with construction management software
• Ability to read and understand construction plans
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
