Description:

Data Archiving strategy: As we continue to pull more data into the data platform, we want to have robust controls in place so that data can reside in Snowflake as an “archive” and be removed from source operational databases. This will likely affect the way that RAW data is stored, tagged, and handled as we work with our data governance group to define requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or Equivalent with 9+ years of experience in Data Architecture and data warehousing or Master with 7+ years worth of experience in Data Architecture and DataWarehousing
• Expert level working Knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle Postgresql and Snowflake.
• At least 10+ years of working experience in RDBMS — Oracle and Snowflake Data cloud will be a plus
• Experience in API-based integration, Real-time integration. + Experience with AWS RDS is needed
• Ability to interact with Business Teams and come up with Data Models logical and Physical
• Work with a team of developers to deliver the Data solutions
• Streaming Data framework experience is a plus
• Experience in Migrating data from existing warehouses from Oracle, SQL Server to Snowflake Data Cloud
• Experience with any Data Modeling tool like ER Studio Data Architect or Erwin will be a plus
• Experience with AWS RDS is a must
• Experience with ELT / ELT tools (DBT / Informatica Cloud, etc .. )
• Experience in Snowflake data warehouse management using various services and utilities like (snow-pipe, stream, cloning, data sharing, and warehouse resizing)
• Experience in Data validation, Data integrity, performances related to DB, Field size validation, check Constraints, and Data Manipulation and updates by using SQL
• Experience in Designing the data marts in dimensional data modeling using star and snowflake methodology

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be $120,000 to $145,000 and reflects base salary only and does not include any additional bonus/variable compensation, benefits, etc that may be applicable for the role. This pay range is provided as a good faith estimate and the amount offered may be higher or lower. Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly and collaboratively with Solution Architect, Informatica Architects , and Development Analysts
• Client-facing with technical and business stakeholders
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level
• Sound knowledge of Data Warehouses and LakeHouse concepts and practical implementation experience
• Excellent Data Analysis and Data Profiling skills using SQL or any other profiling tools to solve business critical issues
• Ability to Apply Snowflake Data Cloud best practices to Snowflake Data Warehouse (must )
• Developing complex data models, monitoring, maintaining and tuning in Snowflake (nice to have)
• SnowFlake Certification will be a plus
• Ability to manage tasks independently
• Financial Domain experience will be a great plus
