ReFocus Eye Health in Waterbury, CT is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to serve as the SQL DBA/BI Developer for our growing organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, analytically minded individual with an aptitude for providing business intelligence solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

· Partner with business leads to identify and assess system and business requirements

· Build and manage SQL Servers and databases

· Data collection across multiple application databases into a data warehouse

· Develop and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions

· Develop, implement and optimize SQL stored procedures, queries and functions

· Create technical solutions to satisfy business needs; create data storage tools, conduct unit tests and develop database queries

· Review and interpret ongoing reporting requirements

· Develop, document, and maintain standards for data storage and retrieval within multiple systems to ensure data consistency and integrity

· Develop procedures, scripts and test routines for data migration

· Create database triggers and other data automation routines

· Develop and support systems integration workflows between application databases

· Create operational dashboards and other visualization tools to support financial and operational business needs

· Implement best practices regarding data definition, data quality, data security and data integration

· Document all architecture and configuration settings

Requirements:

· 3-5 related work experience

· BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

·Knowledge of Data Warehouse and ETL design

· In-depth knowledge of relational database theory and SQL procedures including writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures; backups, restores and recovery models; and performance tuning techniques

· Experience in developing and managing business intelligence dashboards, analytics, administration and architecture in Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tool

· Experience with systems integration

· Experience in healthcare preferred

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Team player

· Great interpersonal and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,763.88 - $134,190.28 per year
