Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a special education paraprofessional beginning with the 2023-24 school year. Must be willing and able to support elementary aged students who have Autism in a highly structured program and setting. Must be a flexible team player and have the genuine desire to work with children. Must be able to assist in small group activities or work one-on-one to follow the educational support plans for the students. Must be able to work as part of a team.
This position will be open until filled. The starting hourly wage for a classified position is dependent upon relevant previous experience. This is a full time position, working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal. The starting hourly wage for this position is $17.41-$19.44 depending on previous experience. A higher starting wage rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, bachelor’s degree, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate. This position is full time, 7.5 hrs per day, and is eligible for benefits. The start date for this position is August 14, 2023. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
