Kinney Lane is a chef-driven prepared foods service serving Fairfield Country. As we expand our New Canaan location to be a small market, we are looking for another chef/manager to help. Ideal candidate will have experience managing a kitchen.

Work daytime hours
Ample room to grow
Work with healthy, seasonal products.
Collaborative, no ego team
Must work at least one weekend day
Must have 3 years minimum in a professional kitchen. Experience with healthy cooking is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations
• Experience with excel/google sheets strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred, but not required.Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Collaborating with other members of the management team to ensure that the restaurants are running smoothly and efficiently
• Participating in menu and recipe development, as well as developing and implementing food-cost controls

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
