Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is assisting a large electronic manufacturing facility in Fremont, CA. We are seeking electronic solder associate for a temp to hire role, starting ASAP. Associates must have 2 years’ experience and a great track record for attendance, attitude, and ability to learn! If this is you, please apply now!

RESPONSIBLITLIES: The solder associate is responsible for knowing soldering defects on PTH/SMD and how to remove and replace them using proper tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Identify soldering defects on PTH/SMD parts including open solder, cold solder, bridging, no lead protrusion, component high, insufficient solder, excess solder, fracture solder, reverse and damage.

· Read visual aids and operation instructions

· Add jump wire on PTH and SMD parts w acceptable quality

· Remove SMD parts (smaller than SOIC 24) using proper rework tools

· Remove fine pitch and Big SMD w hot air tools

· Perform fine pitch soldering under microscope

RATE: $18/hr. DOE, temp to hire
SHIFT: 630a DAY shift, M-F
LOCATION: Fremont, CA

Job Type: Full-time
