WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:

As a Soft Product Prototypist you will be responsible for the design and manufacture of mock ups and prototypes for Product Development and innovation projects. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Project Managers Technical designers and Innovation Engineers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide the soft products prototyping deliverables in compliance with project requirements
• Define and validate the necessary means and organization needed to fulfill the request
• Procure the prototype deliverables according to planning validated with responsible manager
• Collaborate with the responsible manager to define technical concepts, materials and constructions used
• Create paper patterns with traceability to ensure efficient development process
• Manufacture the physical prototypes
• Proactively propose new ideas while providing the most efficient deliverables to ease decision making
• Manage the daily organization of the workshop by following processes validated with the responsible manager
• Ensure maintenance of the equipment and 5S, while monitoring the needs of the workshop
• Develop the best samples, using materials and technologies to fulfil product requirements in partnership with managers
• Collaborate with managers and requesters for all the inputs required to complete prototype requests in a proactive manner.

YOUR PROFILE:

• 2 – 3 years of soft products prototyping experience is required
• Fluent in English
• German and Italian are a plus
• Software: proficiency in 2D CAD softwares like Adobe Illustrator
• Skills in 3D CAD softwares like Alias, Rhino is a plus
• Experience in major textile transformation and decoration processes is needed
• Proficient in processing all the soft materials.
