Position Summary
The UNC Horizons Program is a regional perinatal substance abuse treatment program of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This program provides comprehensive, gender-specific outpatient and residential treatment for pregnant women and mothers and their children. The primary purpose of this Case Manager position is to provide case management services for clients/residents and their children in the residence in conjunction with the therapist and Treatment Team. Some of these duties include treatment planning, job readiness, new client orientation, documenting for services and providing transportation.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Must have a CDAC (Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor) or CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) licensure.
Must have a valid driver license.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Knowledge of the population served. Prefer someone with experience in a women’s residential substance abuse program and who has worked in a trauma informed environment.

Required Licenses/Certifications
Must have a CDAC (Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor) or CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) licensure.
Must have a valid driver license.

Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Must be able to ascend/descend stairs with or without accommodation.
