The SMB Segment will continue to be a high-growth segment for NIQ. The SMB Marketing Manager will play a critical role in new client acquisition through integrated marketing campaigns, event and tradeshow management and content development to support our partner networks. The objective for the SMB Marketing Manager role is to engage new prospects and move them through the purchase funnel through email nurtures, event marketing, and content marketing.

SMB Marketing Manager will work closely with SMB Marketing Leader, Campaign Managers, Content Leaders, Product Marketing and Sales to develop and execute SMB marketing campaigns, including project management, creative development, cross-functional implementation, campaign tracking (KPI) and reporting as necessary. The Marketing Manager will manage and report on SMB marketing campaigns, drive awareness of our brand, execute engagement with NIQ.com/SMB web presence to fuel the sales funnel with Early Qualified Leads (EQLs), Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), which will be nurtured to drive conversions and sales revenue.

This position plays a strategic and significant role in planning and executing SMB Small Segment Marketing strategy and marketing tactics to raise NIQ SMB’s presence, relevance, and authority.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns that align to NA SMB Marketing’s key business priorities, creating a clear, engaging story and maintaining global brand voice and verbal identity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, social and content to create compelling messaging that supports new client acquisition, optimizing campaigns to deliver against KPIs
  • Plan and execute demand gen activities across various channels, including email, social, webinars, partner events, content development, tradeshows and paid search
  • Analyze NIQ SMB’s Free-to-Paid marketing plan and strategy and identify strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements to drive conversions from free accounts to paid accounts
  • Actively use marketing and reporting tools to measure, report and drive corrective actions to maintain a singular focus on strengthening NIQ’s SMB presence
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to build and execute campaigns and track performance metrics; analyze performance and develop insights to continuously improve marketing results
  • Team with SMB Marketing Leader and actively contribute / input new contacts into SMB marketing contact database with ZoomInfo and other internal /external data sources
  • Monitor competitors' activity and communicate strategic initiatives to the broader team
  • Manage marketing analytics, establish and track KPIs for monthly reporting

  • Ability to grasp the complexities and nuances of solutions portfolio and simplify differentiated capabilities into clear marketing content.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Marketing in a corporate or agency environment; Preference to experiences in Retail CPG business; software data subscription business
  • Exceptional writing skills long and short form including blogs, marketing emails, social content, case studies
  • Strong project management skills, detail oriented and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, with a special focus on digital marketing
  • Examples that show off your marketing, communication, writing, and project management skills
  • Excellent communications and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross functionally, with external partners and senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Required skills: Content development, event management, lead management.
  • Preferred skills: Marketing automation, graphic design, product marketing, experience with consumer goods/FMCG (retail/manufacturing)
  • Required software skills: MS Office Suite, WordPress, Google analytics, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Preferred software skills: Brightedge, Hootsuite, PowerBI Data Management Platform, On24, Wondershare, Photoshop
