• Contributes as part of a team of AD scientists towards execution of various analytical methods to support biological therapeutic product release and characterization testing in a compliance-based environment
• Independently performs routine testing, such as but not limited to, SEC, CEX, RP, P20, P80, Titer, CE, iCE, cIEF, CE-SDS, Peptide and Glycan mapping - using established Test Methods, including associated protocol/report documentation and presentations
• Conducts work in compliance with cGMP/GLP, safety and regulatory requirements
• Responsible for working on other non-lab-based tasks from time to time, if assigned
• Demonstrate independent judgment in technique and method selection, protocol and study design and execution, data analysis and use of standard practices and procedures for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity to meet assigned objectives
• Demonstrate strong HPLC, UPLC or CE troubleshooting capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical concentration with at least 4-5 years of demonstrated work experience with HPLC/UPLC based assays, Empower and Chromeleon data analysis software; OR Master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical concentration with 3+ years of demonstrated experience with HPLC/UPLC (Empower and Chromeleon); OR Fresh PhD with 1 year relevant experience
• Hands on experience with, but not limited to, SEC, CEX, RP, P20, P80, Titer, Peptide and Glycan mapping
• Hands-on experience with CE, iCE, cIEF, CE-SDS
• Hands-on troubleshooting capabilities is a must
• Experience in high throughput technologies and automated liquid handling systems – TECAN, Hamilton is a plus
• Experience with Mass Spectroscopy is preferred
• Knowledge of principles and theories of HPLC/UPLC/CE and relevant techniques, and a strong understanding of industry practices and standards
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
