Position Description

This position will work under the direct supervision of the Commercial project manager assisting in assisting in the delivery and staging of material and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance to the Project Manager
• Engage in onsite construction related tasks at their direction.
• Meet with trade partners to allow them access to job sites and discuss scope of work at Project Manager’s direction when PM is unavailable.
• Jobsite Maintenance
• Ensure dust containment systems are set up and in operation when you or crews are working on site.
• Ensure trash and debris does not accumulate on job sites and the job sites are cleaned and organized regularly.
• Job site protection
• Material and equipment delivery
• Pick up materials and deliver to the job site
• Transport trailers and equipment
• Empty dump trailers
• Return unused materials to supplier and / or shop
• Ensure the correct materials and quantities are delivered by confirming via purchase orders

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of construction and building science
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work with a wide variety of power tools
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency in using a computer and smartphone
• Reliable, honest, trustworthy
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• At Least two years previous construction / carpentry experience

Compensation:

• $16.00-18.00 per hour
• Company provided work vehicle
• Company provided cell phone
• Health insurance with 50% of premium paid by employer
• 80 hours of PTO
• Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day / Day after, Christmas Eve, & Christmas Day.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
