SUMMARY:
Works in an enclosed shop facility as well as open yard space servicing and maintaining pressure related equipment and the maintenance equipment associated with same Supervises and Mentors all Shop Technician Levels
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works hand with OES Facility manage discussing daily repair progression and daily planning.
- In charge of best placement of Osprey Shop personnel to assure maximum efficiency in our shop operations
- Responsible for the physical load out/ In of all Osprey Equipment
- Responsible for overlooking and signing off on all OES routers based off inspection of parts to minimize waste and over charging to customers
- Pushes all quality assurance measures put in place by osprey to maximize efficiency and quality
- Understands and follows all Osprey Energy Services HR, HSE and Quality Management Policies
- Attends and engages in all OJT led by a Supervisor or Manager, and any other available training that is required to perform job successfully
- Responsible in all facets of supervising the equipment maintenance, preparation, testing and appearance as directed and as specific to specific job requirements
- Mentors and provides cross-training to less experienced shop technicians on all phases of the identification of disassembly, reassembly, testing and job preparation of all Flowback equipment
- Assigns shop technicians as needed to specific job tasks as well as monitoring of mentors to less experienced shop technicians and participates in review and assessment of the development and work performance of the mentored employees
- Provides oversight of prioritizing duties and procedures of pressure testing equipment and heavy lift movement of equipment
- Responsible for supervising maintenance and operation of the support equipment necessary to prepare the pressure equipment for storage or job prep. (Steam Cleaner, Forklift, Crane, Pressure Test Unit, Torque Units, Paint Booth Apparatus)
- Assists in developing necessary reporting concerning the functions of the shop towards equipment, parts, repairs in support of the Warehouse Manager and his upline duties
- Responsible to manage and keep working area and facility in an organized and neat condition
- Available to work on days and times necessary to complete required work
- Shop Supervisor may be required to perform other related duties as assigned Provides and reinforces all matters to provide a positive working environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2-years recent, practical experience with pressure and flowback equipment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
