Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Coordinate deliveries of projects with customers, carriers, vendors, and confirm with verbal and written communication for both locations
• Coordinate direct ship items, back orders, and vendor deliveries for both locations
• Create and maintain appropriate files for office use and loader use
• Create bill of lading forms for all shipments and ensure bill of lading process is complete prior to loads leaving
• Follow up with internal and external customers daily and work with minimal supervision
• Accurately process Canadian loads and paperwork
• Maintain process of tracking short-shipped materials and follow up with appropriate internal and external customers
• Work accurately inside of carrier point to dispatch all loads

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience dealing with customers
• Willing and able to work fluctuating work schedule as needed with little or no notice
• Prior shipping or receiving experience
