Overview:
Responsible for order fulfillment activities, including preparing and processing shipping documents, schedule trucking, sending advanced shipping notices and supporting the customer service function.
Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders received by the Company in a timely and accurate manner
  • Schedule transportation for customer orders according to the weekly schedule and the customer’s shipping matrix
  • Prepare all shipping documentation as required by the customer and carrier
  • Complete advance shipping notices (AN’s) daily
  • Prepare all shipping documentation for outside processng shipments
  • Docuware-Scanning of receiving documentation
  • Prepare customer pick lists for packers per weekly schedule
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED with one plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

MATH ABILITY
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual is required to be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and database systems.
