Our team is expanding in Shakopee! We seeking a shipping associate on the second shift to prepare products for shipping, receive freight, and perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Location: Shakopee, MN
Pay: $18/hr.
Hours: 12:30 pm - 9 pm, Monday - Friday

Job duties of the shipping associate:
- Utilize small hand tools and operate scales, metering machines, etc. and use hand trucks to move materials around
- Perform shipping duties including check goods against shipping documents and authorizations, package goods for shipment according to specifications, prepare bills of lading, post weight and shipping charges and more
- Occasionally perform activities related to the receiving materials such as unpacking of goods; checking against bills of lading, packing slips, etc., identification and quantity; maintaining records of goods received; rejects damaged, excess, or misdirected goods, routes material to inspection, stores or other destinations
- Operate forklift as needed
- Maintain necessary files and documentation
Requirements of the shipping associate:
- Intermediate computer skills
- Customer service skills
- Lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally
- Read and understand both written and verbal instructions
- Detail orientated
