Shift Lead Job Description:

A Shift Lead is someone who will be in charge of managing one of our working shifts. Duties primarily revolve around the general management of your direct reports, which include, and are not limited to, providing and demonstrating task instructions, monitoring cookie levels, writing out and executing a game plan, delegating tasks to crew members, handling cash, opening or closing the store. In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be reliable, consistent, have excellent communication skills, and have a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

Shift Lead Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure employees that report to you meet performance expectations
• Provide instructions and delegate responsibilities to employees
• Ensure the work environment is safe, secure and healthy
• Meet deadlines for catering, corporate communications, orders etc.
• Ensure great customer service at all levels

It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that were just plain embarrassing to them today, the cousins decided to try something a little unique, A/B test their way to the perfect cookie. McGowan, coming from the software world, was accustomed to this methodology of testing. They would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question "Which one of these two cookies is the best?" They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie.
