Brim operates 11 New Holland agricultural and construction equipment dealerships in Oregon and Washington. For over 55 years, Brim has provided sales, as well as parts, service and rental support to agricultural and construction industries in the Pacific Northwest. The Brim equipment offering includes top quality brands like New Holland, JCB, Yanmar, Bad Boy, Landmaster, Diamond Mowers, Woods Equipment, Polaris, Krone, Snorkel and Xtreme Manufacturing. Our Rental Department provides a large variety of equipment for all clientele from the hobby farmer to large construction and everything in between.

Job Description
Seeking an experienced Service Writer to provide excellent customer service and technical support. The goal is to keep the Service Department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention.
Responsibilities
- Answer all service department phone calls
- Relay requests for technical information to appropriate technician
- Collect all information needed to start repair orders including form of payment
- Create hard copy and electronic of the work order
- Keep Service Manger informed of all incoming service requests
- Keep in contact with customers regarding the status of the work and anticipated completion date
- Work with parts department to ensure timely ordering of parts
- Work with techs to develop "talk to text" use of work order notes
- Add technician "work performed" notes to work orders
- Check completed work orders for accuracy of parts used and time punched
- Contact customers when jobs are completed
- Ensure all jobs are paid for before machines are delivered back to the customer
Qualifications
- Computer skills with working knowledge of service software and tools
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service oriented
- Additional knowledge of compact construction equipment and telehandlers is a plus
- Write clear parts requisitions, service write ups, and customer estimates
