The Opportunity
Do you have what it takes to design the cutting-edge products of an international market leader in spatial technologies?

In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with the product manager and UI/UX designer of the team, take ownership, see your design come to life and iterate on it.

If you have a passion for human-centered design, love to work in interdisciplinary teams and know how to apply your design techniques in an innovation driven product development process, then you just might be the person we are looking for!

How you will make an impact

• You will have the opportunity to design state-of-the-art products, while working closely with engineers and product managers
• You will have the crucial responsibility to conduct user research to help your team understand our user needs
• You will interview our customers from around the world by using UX methods
• You will drive the iterative design process from end-to-end, inducing ideation, sketching, mockups, low- & high fidelity prototyping, user testing and final UI design
• You will be working closely with Developers in an agile environment to implement high-quality product features our customers really want
• You will act as our users' advocate and help the team empathize with their pains and needs
• You will ensure that the design vision makes it into the final product and creates a cohesive user experience
• You will be a member of the NavVis UX Guild and collaborate on methodology, design library, and UX pattern

What will help you succeed in the role

• 4+ years of relevant practical experience
• A strong understanding of usability and user centered design practices
• Love reaching out to customers to understand their needs and expectations
• Proactiveness in solving problems, accompanied by a structured way of working
• Passion for emerging technologies and eagerness to understand technical dependencies
• Strong clean visual design sense
• Great teamworking skills
• Experience in hardware (UX) design, Figma, B2B products, as well as passion for conducting inter-disciplinary design workshops would be an added benefit!
• Fluent german language skills
