Basic Purpose

Identify, investigate, and select direct and indirect sources for candidate talent pools based on strategic business needs. Create talent pipelines to ensure staffing needs are pro-actively positioned for current and future business requests. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to develop and maintain ongoing relationships and partnerships with hiring leaders, candidate pools and peer partners to deliver candidates for NFCU hiring needs.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with management and cross functional teams when implementing sourcing strategies to proactively identify candidates and assemble diverse pipelines of talent for identified jobs
  • Define, design, and execute sourcing strategies to align with overarching hiring strategy
  • Identify top prospects and provide the information to respective Recruiters
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships and partnerships with candidates and peer partners to deliver candidates for business hiring needs
  • Create and implement highly impactful sourcing strategies that result in quality submittals and hires
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels, competitive research, and other technologies to attract candidates with targeted experiences and skills
  • Stay current on business and recruiting trends that may impact the hiring process or talent pools
  • Advise recruiters and hiring managers on the competitive landscape for attracting talent-based market data and research
  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies to stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends, social media outlets and most effective recruiting channels
  • Build on current candidate experience concept and introduce creative ideas to actively engage candidates
  • Leverage market intelligence to identify, target, and contact passive candidates presenting opportunities and conveying NFCU employee value proposition for attraction and potential hire
  • Assist with research and gathering market intelligence
  • Measure and report on sourcing and recruiting metrics (e.g. source of hire and time-to-fill)
  • Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and industry laws, regulations and guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
  • Extensive experience in conduct searches or sourcing, either full cycle corporate or agency recruitment, to include developing and executing creative and innovative solutions utilizing a variety of tools and technology
  • Experience communicating employment value proposition with emerging and passive talent audiences to generate and champion interest
  • Experience with advanced networking, candidate generation, and passive/active sourcing methodologies
  • Knowledge with systems and tools that support sourcing, application tracking systems, data integrity, and workplace collaboration
  • Proven ability to deliver highly sought after candidates within their field in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience in advanced sourcing methods including but not limited to: email extractions, browser extensions, people aggregators, and X-ray searching
  • Extensive experience in gathering hiring requirements from recruiters
  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining a skilled pipeline of talent
  • Advanced knowledge of successful pre-screening and assessing candidate qualifications
  • Advanced skill to influence, negotiate and persuade to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes
  • Advanced skill building effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tact
  • Advanced organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work
  • Expert skill in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Title VII, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Affirmative Action Plan, and other state regulations governing recruiting and talent acquisition practices
  • Effective skill speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional setting

Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of bank processes and services is preferred

Navy Federal is now hybrid! Our standard enterprise requirement for a hybrid schedule is to report on-site 4-16 days each month. The number of days reporting on-site will ultimately be determined by the employee's leadership and business unit needs. You will learn more throughout the hiring and on boarding process.

Salary Range: $85,500.00 - $146,300.00 annually

Navy Federal Credit Union assesses market data to establish salary ranges that enable us to remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range, based on your experience, location and market position.
