Overview AFC Framework provides a central team responsible for developing, documenting and driving implementation of governing principles across AFC. Amongst a number of activities, this team is also responsible for coordinating AFC’s interaction with major industry bodies such as AFCA or FATF, maintaining the AFC Information Sharing Protocol and subsequent processes and addressing certain ad hoc requirements from Senior Management that require a programmatic governance. Key Responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for the maintenance of the AFC Information Sharing Protocol and the coordination of in-scope information sharing via the Information Sharing Coordination Office
  • You are responsible for the Legal Conflicts process, including steering and ensuring proper documentation of information which have been provided to regulators as well as for documentation which have been provided by the GAMLO to group entities
  • You will drive the engagement with our major industry groups regarding Financial Crime Risk topics, such as the Anti-Financial Crime Alliance, Wolfsberg, FATF, etc. and will be the key contact for relevant stakeholders (via the AFC Industry Engagement Coordination Office)
  • You will support special projects and a variety of remediation and process improvement engagements, both intra-AFC and extending across AFC, business and CLM
  • You will manage individual and complex AML tasks which require cross functional and cross divisional cooperation and implementation, and act as the central go-to person for all relevant key stakeholders
Relevant experience and skills:
  • You are used to work in small efficient teams with experienced colleagues and own tasks with limited guidance and align with your colleagues as required
  • You can deal with complex and ambiguous situations and operate efficiently within a Matrix organization, and therefore know how to overcome obstacles
  • You have a very strong ability to build robust professional networks, working service-oriented and as a team player
  • You are highly committed and flexible (e.g. in case of time-critical projects) and have the ability to work focused and in a systematic way and – in particular under high time pressure – exceptional attention to detail
  • You have a Law degree or degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university and ideally first experience in working in the regulatory banking environment
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both verbally and in writing
