Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Chelmsford, MA. This is a full-time role with great employee benefits and a great manufacturing environment.
Our location: Chelmsford, Massachusetts is a charming suburb of Boston located about 25 miles northwest of that city. Chelmsford is very close to historic Lowell Massachusetts and to Nashua, New Hampshire. Chelmsford is within reach of New Hampshire's White Mountains and awesome ski areas to the north, and the scenic coastal towns of MA and NH are about an hour east. This scenic colonial region offers lots of New England charm, great schools, shopping, and restaurants. Chelmsford and the region share an impressive past from the early days after the pilgrims arrived in Plymouth to the revolutionary war.

Basic Qualifications:
Availability to work Second Shift / 2:30pm - 1:00am / Monday-Thursday / Fridays off
Microscope visual inspection is required.
One year of inspection experience is required.
ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training / awareness is required.
HS / GED is required.
Use of inspection hand tools is required.
Ability to follow work instructions is required.
The ability to work effectively with others is required.
The ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must have the ability to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to starting, therefore must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Prior defense industry experience would be a plus.
SAP Quality Module experience would be a plus.
AS9100 experience would be a plus.
Mil-883 experience would be a plus.
IPC-610 experience would be a plus.
J-STD-001 experience would be a plus.
Clean Room experience would be a plus.
FOD experience would be a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- In this important role the Quality Inspector will inspect components, housings, and finished assemblies of electromechanical products for conformance to established work instruction, industry standards, drawings, etc., using low / high power microscopes, test equipment, and hand-held inspection tools.
- The Quality Inspector will enter inspection results into QMS and MRP systems.
- The Quality Inspector will work with engineering to report and detail non-conformances.
