Job Summary
Strategic Access Transformation (SAT) is an Enterprise-wide (co-sponsored by Hospital and Physician Organization) transformational initiative to vision and execute towards a Revenue Cycle of the future through standardizing processes, automation, and innovation. The Senior Project Manager advises the administrative leadership, clinical leadership, and other key stakeholders of the Enterprise on how processes can be improved, implemented, and tracked over time. The Senior Project Manager also provides analytical support, process improvement strategy, and identify cost management recommendations to SAT Leadership and beyond. The Senior Project Manager also serves as a collaborative change agent and provides constructive leadership within the institution. The Senior Project Manager leads/mentors lower-level staff. Works with Program Manager on infrastructure management.

This Senior Project Manager- SAT will be responsible for:
- Leading and overseeing large multi-disciplinary projects of high strategic priority and varying levels of complexity, through all phases from initiation/planning through the execution and delivery of the contract concluding with project transition and close, ensuring a successful project.
- Consulting with organizational stakeholders. Identify and use appropriate project management tools and concepts (scope management, planning, budget management, risk/ issue management, communications management). Develops and execute work plan. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency. Deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Creating work products and project deliverables independently. Understand and meet expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness. Oversee the creation of work products by others to ensure quality.
- Conducting and/or supporting complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of project data, summarizes findings, draws appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicates results to team. Manage and direct regulatory/ reporting activities related to projects (e.g., IRB, updates/ reports to funding agencies, etc.)
- Facilitating Enterprise relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Managing communication to and relationships with key project stakeholders (internal and external) and institution-wide. Compose, edit, and deliver written and verbal communications. Facilitate group discussions. Keep team members appropriately informed.
- Supporting research and project management for Enterprise projects across all phases of the project life-cycle. Develop tools and processes and provide ongoing support.
- Maintaining Strategic Access Transformation operations and infrastructure, including project requests, assessment, and portfolio.
- Mentor and develop lower-level staff using a supportive and collaborative approach involved in initiatives. Assign and maintain accountabilities, establish clear and mutually agreed expectations, set objectives, establish priorities and monitor/evaluate results.
- Assisting Program Manager in engagement team’s infrastructure management. Scopes proposed projects: defines project parameters, calculates required resources, and estimates relative value of proposed work. Helps prioritize projects and assignments. Makes recommendations for project phasing and resource utilization. Assures completion of project closure process: obtains project experience feedback from project team members and stakeholders, gathers follow-up data on measurable improvements on project KPI’s.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration or related field, Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years relevant experience required, 3 years experience managing multiple highly complex projects preferred.
- Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification preferred.
- Effectively manage multiple demands and projects simultaneously.
