Your responsibilities

• You will play a significant role in the international project management of chemical/industrial plant construction projects with medium and mostly high complexity (i.e. EPC projects).
• In this key position, you manage the project team consisting of motivated and diverse members in an agile matrix organization.
• You report directly to the Global Head of Project Management and act as an interface to various Operating Units of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG.
• With your wealth of experience you are responsible for the independent planning, structuring and processing of the execution as well as the active management of risks.
• You manage and control the project execution in accordance to defined quality, cost and time related criteria.
• With your profound expertise you support the preparation of bids related to project management input such as schedules, hourly estimates and execution concepts.
• You are responsible for the internal and external coordination of the relevant internal and external stakeholders incl. the customer and appear confident and experienced in this.

Your profile

• You should have a master's degree in engineering, ideally in mechanical engineering, process engineering or a similar discipline.
• You already have solid experience as a (Senior) Project Manager in the execution of chemical/industrial plant construction projects, preferable you have also gained experience in project controls.
• You convince with your excellent intercultural communication skills in English language as well as with your result-oriented way of working.
• A sense of responsibility, the ability to work in a team, flexibility, pragmatism and commitment are characteristics that make you stand out.
• Solid knowledge of the common MS Office applications, MS Project and/or Primavera.
• Project Management Certification in accordance to PMI, Prince or IPMA.
• The willingness to travel worldwide.
