Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects including defining scope and coordinating/supervising external contractors, vendors, and internal technicians.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Lead installation and removal of equipment.
• Set-up, maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform construction and general facility type work.
• Inspect work of other technicians.
• Lead performance of required corrective maintenance.
• Purchase and maintain inventory of parts for equipment.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians.

Key requirements:

• HS diploma/ GED with 10 years of recent similar industry experience in cGMP and aseptic processing environment required.
• Process equipment experience required.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, contamination control, cleanroom behavior and GMP/ISO preferred; Knowledge of compliance with cGMP’s; PLC knowledge strongly preferred.
• Recent knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration required.
• Advanced knowledge of Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical skills and mathematical required.
• Advanced knowledge of standard machine shop practices and use of power tools required.
• Must be able to read, interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow SOP’s and the importance of compliance with cGMPs.
• Ability to pass gowning requirement for work in Class 100 environments required.
• Basic computer skills required; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, preferred.

Salary info:

$30 - $40 / hr
