Your role at Clorox:
The primary responsibility of the Senior Logistics Buyer is to procure logistics services that support multiple business units. This position has a wide range of responsibilities with a particular focus on North America Rail. The tasks include negotiating and contracting, leading supplier relationships, developing category strategies, reducing costs, engaging stakeholders, and driving supplier performance. The Senior Logistics Buyer works closely with Logistics Operations Teams and other teams that impact various modes of transportation, warehousing, E-commerce, and customer service. In addition, this role ensures compliance by keeping contracts and documents up to date in Apttus and Box folders. The Senior Logistics Buyerr also provides crucial support and information for compliance requests such as SOX and Lease Obligations. This role also plays a meaningful part in developing and documenting processes.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and lead sourcing activities including sourcing events, and supplier management of assigned categories.
- Identify and lead cost savings initiatives across SBU’s or functions Develop and Drive high performing cross functional relationships.
- Work with peers and Manager to support overall Logistics Sourcing and Business Award Strategy.
- Manage cost savings through PPM and fully utilize Apttus to contract management
- Drive supplier performance through KPI implementation and supplier scorecards.
What we look for:
- 5 years of Rail experience. Excellent analytical skills. Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain / CPG experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or Supply Chain/Logistics
- Project Management, detail and process oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills, strong analytical, organizational, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders.
- Adaptability and prioritization to handle numerous competing priorities at the same time.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Some travel may be required.

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $84,500 - $158,000
–Zone B: $77,500 - $144,800
–Zone C: $70,400 - $131,700

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
