Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Cookeville office. This position will report directly to and work alongside the Area Controller. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented, have a strong work ethic, problem solving skills, and the ability to work well with a variety of personalities on a daily basis.

Starting from $75,000/year based on experience and education

Responsibilities:

• Assist with accurate reporting of financial accounting for multiple lines of business including month-end close, accounts payable, and construction accounting.
• Update management reports and financial models on a weekly and monthly basis as well as develop future models/reports to assist operations team.
• Provide variance analysis for historical and forecasted performance on each line of business.
• Provide ad hoc analysis based on management and corporate requests.
• Assist with forecasts and annual budget.
• Provide input and lead improvements on internal processes.
• Monitor and lead compliance with internal audit policies.
• Manage inventory at asphalt and aggregate lines of business.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• Effective communication skills, both written and inter-personal.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites, especially Excel.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and initiatives
• Ability to work independently upon training
