You're agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. \nYou also have: \n\t\n• \tBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline \n• \tEngineer position requires 3-5 years experience in development role or related field\n• \tUnderstanding of core manufacturing processes - injection molding, die casting, machining, gearing, sheet metal, forgings, powdered metal, etc.\n• \tKnowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups\n• \tStrong problem-solving skills and ability to generate/evaluate creative ideas\n• \tMechanical aptitude including problem-solving skills and hands on abilities\n• \tSolid communication and interpersonal skills\n• \tUnderstanding of material properties (ferrous & non-ferrous, polymer, heat treatment) and the ability to suggest the right material & process based on performance & cost deliverables\n• \tSelf-motivated, results & goal oriented\n• \tExcellent communication, organization & time management skills\n\nWhat You'll Do \nAs a Senior Engineer, you'll be part of our Global Tools & Storage team located in Towson.\nSpecifically, you'll:\n\t\n• \tAid in the product development of innovative and user preferred professional power tools\n• \tCollaborate with Project Engineer, Designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver functioning designs and key areas on a power tool\n• \tDevelop and refine concepts, prototypes and/or specifications to solve given challenges\n• \tDesign components and complete unit layouts using a 3D CAD system\n• \tEmploy/utilize analytical software (FEA, CFD, etc)\n• \tWork closely with manufacturing and suppliers \n• \tUtilizes experience and cross-functional interaction to deliver solutions that are innovative, manufacturable, and cost effective\n• \tInterview end users and work efficiently with team members to meet project needs\n• \tInvestigate design issues and test failures and effectively drive corrective actions\n• \tUnderstand and be able to apply calculations (Stackup analysis, Spring Design, Press fits...)\n\n \nWhat You'll Also Get\n• \tCareer Opportunity: Career paths aren't linear here.
