The Senior Director of Admissions sets application evaluation parameters and calibrates application review across reviewers. Using extensive knowledge of department requirements and the applicant pool, the Senior Director of Admissions reviews the majority of applications including the most complex cases and making final admission decisions. This position evaluates the effectiveness of admissions and recruiting programs and implements improvements.

This position plays an integral role and serves as a leader in both the Advanced Degree Programs Office and the Law School in regards to international student admissions, recruiting, and enrollment. The Senior Director of Admissions maintains a high degree of familiarity with international legal education institutions and develops relationships with various Berkeley Law and University administrative offices and scholarship agencies, as well as between Berkeley Law and peer school program offices.
