How You Will Make an Impact

• Senior Corporate Counsel will review advertising, marketing, and other promotional materials before publication or broadcast to ensure compliance with all relevant advertising medium terms and conditions and all applicable laws and regulations, including the Federal Trade Commission Act, Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act, and the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act
• Senior Corporate Counsel will be a key legal adviser for the organization’s marketing, production, and customer engagement teams on a variety of day-to-day legal matters
• Provide legal guidance on strategic initiatives, including loyalty programs, influencer arrangements, and emerging advertising mediums
• Senior Corporate Counsel will review, negotiate, and draft a variety of contracts and legal documents associated with the marketing and sale of the company’s portfolio of products, including talent agreements, marketing and media placement services agreements, and license agreements
• Senior Corporate Counsel will contribute to the development and management of business processes, guidelines, and procedures relating to the company’s legal department
• Assist with managing the company’s trademark portfolio, including trademark prosecution and renewals and defending registered marks against infringement and conflicting applications
• Review, negotiate, and draft various commercial legal agreements and documents
• Work closely with key stakeholders and executive leadership and advise on a variety of legal issues

What You Bring to the Table

• Law degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing, or eligible to register with the Florida Bar as Authorized House Counsel
• Strong experience in advertising reviews and understanding of the FTC Act
• Ability to review, negotiate, and draft a variety of contracts and legal documents; must be able to draft contracts and other legal documents from the “ground up”
• Experience marketing dietary supplements and cosmetics a strong plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• In-house counsel experience a plus
• Excellent legal writing skills and general verbal and written communication skills
