We’re growing our P&C team across industries, products and programs. We’re looking for a S enior Claims Consultant to interact with clients, carriers, third party administrators, Producers, Account Executives and others to advocate on large losses on behalf of our clients.

We’re growing our P&C team across industries, products and programs. We’re looking for a S enior Claims Consultant to interact with clients, carriers, third party administrators, Producers, Account Executives and others to advocate on large losses on behalf of our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support new business with sales presentations and RFP’s
- Consults with clients to help mitigate their risk
- Handles complaints, arbitrates disputes and negotiates alternative solutions
- Occasionally conduct research on coverage to address claim issues that arise to obtain the best outcome for the client
- Advocates for clients by providing claim oversight for claim exposures
- Assist producer teams to address client claim issues
- Assist in various projects, including development of best practices, teaching and training of employees, and other projects as assigned
- Experience of handling general liability, auto, workers compensation and executive risk claims of a complex nature.
- Advanced knowledge of complex claims handling concepts, practices and techniques, to include but not limited to coverage issues, and product line knowledge
- Exceptional customer service skills, including emotional intelligence and commitment to outstanding client service
- Balance team and individual responsibilities and contributes to building a positive team spirit
- Upholds and supports organizational values and goals, treats others with respect and works with integrity and ethically; follows policies and procedures and completes tasks correctly and on time
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness while meeting productivity standards and completing work in a timely manner
Education and/or Experience:
- Four-year degree or AIC designation preferred
- 7 + years of property and Casualty claim handling and/or claim oversight experience
- Understand the basic process and value of basic data analytics and benchmarking
- Understand medical case management and cost containment programs
- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures and processes involving insurance
- Ability to communicate technical information orally and in writing
- Ability to analyze and provide concise conclusions
- Project management skills
- Time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
