About the role:
The Senior Business Analyst (BA) within the Global Clinical Organization (GCO) will align to a business capability in enabling clinical trials. This individual should have demonstrated prior experience as a member of an Agile team and be highly motivated with excellent analysis and execution skills. In this position, teamwork and networking with business partners, IT and cross-functional team members are necessary skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, and cross divisional stakeholders on projects related to system development, configuration/requirements, releases, testing, and implementation of fixes/enhancements.
- Work with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business (end user) system requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and Project Leads to determine scope of system work and write/communicate business requirements and/or user stories so that IT may translate into technical requirements.
- Work with Clinical Learning and Development to review training revisions and help to establish training content for cross divisional Clinical and system administrative process improvements and/or creation of new system related best practices, job aids, user guides and training materials.
- Act as a Clinical system user Subject Matter Expert (SME) interfacing with end users.
- Assist in coaching team in systems and process best practices.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience as a systems analyst; soliciting business requirements, story grooming, writing acceptance criteria.
- Prior experience as a member of an Agile software development team.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in developing complex Business Rules.
- Must have experience about clinical system (EDC, Veeva, Argus).
- Experience in a Medical Device or Regulated Industry.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in related field.
- 5+ years of experience developing, supporting, and maintaining healthcare systems.
- Experience working on large scale projects.
- Experience in Product Teams, Agile and Kanban methodologies.
- Prior experience with EDC system (Medidata Rave, Expert).
- Advanced system analysis skills and experience with EDC technologies such as iMedidata.
- Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, SDLC, change management, and requirements gathering.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present in an organized manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify innovative technologies to improve the customer experience.
- Ability to generate high-level requirements and understanding of the business process workflow.
