We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Analyst, Fircosoft Administration/Sanctions Screening Team to join our Pershing Controls team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL - Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Perform mandatory Regulatory Sanctions and Internal List Management updates. This daily process could include expanded coverage beyond a regularly scheduled basis
Perform quality assurance and reconciliation procedures
Perform Lexis Nexis Fircosoft filter and utility scanning maintenance and testing activities
Support the business Sanction Operations teams in the reduction of filter false positive alerts by identifying rules and exception processing opportunities
Perform whitelist and rule exceptions, and complete the required testing and approval process
Support project activity requests requiring the creation of rules, testing and analysis of data, ad-hoc scanning needs and reporting
Build and maintain required adequate controls, process documentation and updated procedures for critical functions
Balance numerous projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Contribute to the preparation of time sensitive reporting and appropriately escalates issues to more experienced professionals
Support audit/validation requests for the filter and alert monitoring systems
Perform functions in the Lexis Nexis FircoSoft vendor alert monitoring system related to end user access management, configuration changes, system report usage and periodic business continuity testing

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years of experience in Sanctions Compliance / KYC / Financial Crimes in a global bank, and financial institution experience is highly preferred
Experience with Lexis Nexis/FircoSoft products
Has an understanding of Sanctions/AML systems
Knowledge and use of JIRA and working in an AGILE environment
Strong skills in MS Office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Exudes a high level of integrity with the ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $46,500 and $81,500 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
