SUMMARY:
In this role you will provide effective service delivery to customers of assigned accounts as well as accounts of team members. You will also assist in training and development of more inexperienced staff members. You will assume responsibility for department wide projects. As Senior Trust Officer, you will be accountable for business development through deepening relationships with current clients, as well as, networking activities with internal and external partners geared toward developing new relationships and additional assets.

LOCATION:
This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be at Henderson Rd. or New Albany locations in Columbus, OH.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively applies programs designed to develop and retain trust business and assists team members.

Administers assigned account load which may be relatively complex and demanding.

Serves as a team leader who can consult and advise lesser experienced staff.

Engages in problem solving within the context of established rules and regulations.

Carries out special projects which may entail coordination with other areas and departments.

Identifies and targets potential clients by building relationships with bank partners, attorneys, accountants, and other professionals who may refer clients for Trust and investment services.

Provides a comprehensive prospect profile for financial, retirement, and estate planning needs. Presents a compelling case for utilizing our services to meet their goals.

Discusses Trust and estate planning techniques covering effective investment management, tax efficiency and survivor beneficiary provisioning.

May be assigned supervisory responsibility for other administrative staff.

Assists in training as requested.

Other duties may be assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products.

Experience or familiarity with MoneyGuide Pro, Investor’sView System, Advantage Trust System preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree required. Finance, Economics, Marketing and/or Business Administration preferred.

Minimum of five years of Trust Administration experience with an emphasis on portfolio management required.

Leadership experience preferred.
