IES Residential is seeking a Senior Accountant who will assist with journal entries, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and special projects as needed. We are in the hunt for a team-oriented, dynamic, and motivated individual to join our Accuting team.

This position is a full-time and is an in-office position at our office located in Stafford, Texas who will report to the Accounting Manager.

Min: USD $75,000.00/Yr. Max: USD $95,000.00/Yr. Minimum Education: College Minimum Years of Experience: 4-6 Specific Qualifications:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process and post monthly and quarterly journal entries
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Maintain accrual records and amortization schedules
  • Maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Facilitate inter-company transactions and reconciliations
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
  • Will assist with external/internal audit requests
  • Handle other responsibilities as assigned
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of Accounting experience in a similar role
  • Must have previous accounting software experience required
