Job Summary
Responsible of patrolling hotel areas to ensure the safety of guests, employees and resources. Respond to emergency situations. Completes logs and incident reports. Monitor surveillance. Investigate and assist with diverse type of claims.
Job Duties
- · Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points, and permitting entry.
- · Respond to emergency situations, including medical, security, guest complaints, etc. and assist appropriately.
- · Complete diverse types of claims, reports and investigations in a timely and clear manner by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures; etc.
- · Perform identification control, key control and radio duties according to standard procedures and maintaining proper etiquette.
- · Maintain effective communication with local agencies, and serves as a liaison
- · Document deliveries and items leaving the purchasing area after-hours.
- · Enables access to secured areas for authorized personnel or guests, and maintain knowledge of locking systems
- · Escort employee, guests or resources as necessary.
- · Maintain appropriate lobby presence as needed, especially during the overnight shift.
- · Maintain confidentiality and act in a trustworthy manner.
- Maintain an awareness of legal limitation of position (local, state and/or federal ordinances).
- · Control and assist with traffic and directions
- · Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
- · Patiently answer all inquiries of our guests and assist them in every way possible.
- · Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- · Comply with all company standards, policies and procedures.
- · Assist department, as needed.
- · Additional duties, as required.
Qualifications
- · Over six months related experience and/or training.
- · Certification on First-Aid/CPR procedures
- Must be effective in handling situations; including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems, as necessary.
- · Self-starting and outgoing personality with a pleasant disposition, and strong attention to detail.
- · Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with guests and visitors.
Physical Environment
The position performs indoors and outdoors.
The position requires the ability to move about offices, hallways, mechanical rooms, kitchens, elevators, stairs, and rooms.
The position constantly requires the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
The position frequently requires to move items up to 100 lbs. and requires to perform duties in a stooping, kneeling, or crawling position.
The position occasionally requires to move items up to 200 lbs.
Ability to physically restrict individuals who pose a threat to guests, employees or resources.

-The hotel operates seven days per week, twenty four hours per day; schedules are reflective of business needs and employees may be requested to be available to work on days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
