Active family is seeking to hire an energetic, detail oriented, and efficient Housekeeper to assist with the upkeep and cleaning duties out of secondary residence in Amagansett, NY. This is a full-time, 5 day workweek, roughly 10 to 12 hour days, starting Memorial Day to Labor Day. The most successful candidate will have extensive experience in a fast-paced environment with young children. This role will require to work alongside and cohesively with small household team

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• All aspects of general housekeeping and deep cleaning of residence; museum quality cleaning including care for fine furniture, art, antiques, etc.
• Polishing fine surfaces includes silver, brass, China, crystal, marble, etc.
• Assisting with the planning and execution of small- and large-scale events
• General laundress duties: washing, steaming, ironing, stain-removal etc..

Requirements:

• Strong command of English language; outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent references required from both current and previous employers
• Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a private home
• Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities; willing and able to take direction well
• Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, and storage organization
• Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manner; use of utmost discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Flexibility in scheduling with the willingness to work additional hours as needed
• Valid Drivers License
• Legally able to work in the United States

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Weekends only
