Position Summary:

The School Social Worker will provide social work services to an Elementary student population and support in two, self-contained ED Program classrooms. The caseload holds a total of 15 students. The SSW will significantly contribute to the development of each student’s social-emotional well-being and ability to achieve success. On top of that, they will utilize effective practices that provide for safe environments and supportive relationships. Furthermore, they will partner with additional social workers, teachers, and other related service staff to assess student progress and set attainable goals. In this role, the SSW will receive endless support and guidance from each and every team member at this school.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Endorsement in Social Work
