Interim HealthCare of Lake Superior Staffing is looking for an experienced school nurse to work with a high school student with medical needs. This position consists of a Monday through Friday 8 AM - 3:30 PM schedule starting immediately through the end of the school year with some makeup days. Interim HealthCare of Lake Superior staffing has additional opportunities if you are looking for hours beyond that schedule or additional opportunities once the assignment is completed.

Here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
- Bus to and from school with the student
- Alternate between physical activity, academic tasks, and reward for student
- Communication with students parents
- Administer liquid vitamins, medications, and tube feedings
- Daily health assessments
- Pool support
- Work under the educational direction of the teacher
A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistants:
- Active LPN License and in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a medical facility
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
