SCBA Subassembler (2nd Shfit: 3:00pm - 11:00pm)

Responsibilities:
Working hours are 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday
Starting pay $23.76/hr.
- Assemble and test sub-assemblies, using various test machines, high pressure air, and various hand tools.
- Assemble sub-assemblies and component parts using torque wrenches, vises, and various other hand / power tools
- Perform tests, troubleshoot, visual inspections, and repair sub-assemblies and component parts as needed.
Proven ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures- Proven ability to understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices
- Ability to perform standard software operations including SAP
- Ability to infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance
- Ability to lift up to 90 pounds with assistance in a team lift
- Actively participate in problem solving & continuous improvement efforts
- Proven ability to use power and hand tools
- Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments
- Ability to work in a team environment and to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to consistently perform work within established operational cycle times
- Ability to wear safety glasses ANSI Z87 approved, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required
- Must be able to assemble small subassemblies that require fine motor skills and dexterity.
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year previous manufacturing or related experience
