About the Manufacturing Systems Manager role:

The Manufacturing Systems Manager, will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and/or improving systems and related processes to achieve operational efficiencies, improve performance, and ensure process/systems interface across the Global Operations group and with suppliers. Additionally, the manager will develop training material, manage documents (SharePoint) and conduct training as necessary. Other responsibilities will include the entry and maintenance of all part number and catalogue numbers in both the Oracle and AS400 systems and supporting the Purchasing (Drop Ship) and Service Planning departments with various system reporting and maintenance.

· Work directly with planning teams, manufacturing plants, suppliers, and continuous improvement group to develop and implement system enhancements or new tools within Global Operations group.

· Develop communication, procedures, and training program to support new systems or tools.

· Participate in or lead projects and/or lean events relative to process and system improvements, mergers/acquisitions, new business development initiatives, and consolidation activity.

· Direct the management of the entry of all Amsco branded part and catalog numbers into the Oracle database.

· Directs the management of all domestic post order entry processes.

· Manages the coordination of International and consolidated orders (?)

· Supports service planning and purchasing activities related to database maintenance and metric reporting.

· Process Associate performance review and salary adjustments in a timely manner.

Manufacturing Systems Manager Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, technical, or supply chain related discipline.

· 8+ years supply chain experience required.

· SAP Manufacturing experience required. Oracle experience a plus.

· Must be experienced in managing direct report or cross functional teams. Proven success in leading, developing, and engaging others.

· Demonstrated experience or ability to successfully standardize systems and procedures, manage projects or implement initiatives.

· Demonstrated knowledge and experience in lean and continuous improvement.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, problems solving, business acumen, and time management skills.
