Job Description
  • Applies advanced knowledge of Laboratory Information Management (NIMS) software to production activities.
  • Ability to focus on accurate and on-time delivery of daily team goals
  • Has expertise in sample registration tasks from triage through the transition into the lab
  • Promotes quality to ensure client specific procedures are followed accurately
  • Receiving samples from the customer and provision of sampling equipment, where appropriate, to the customer.
  • Entry of sample information into the laboratory data management system.
  • Routing of samples and paperwork to the appropriate analysts and notification of the analysts of those samples requiring special handling.
  • Checking on sample progress to ensure that reporting deadlines are met.
  • Contributes to a cohesive team environment and acts as a department-wide resource
  • Communicates sample information effectively to the SM team and customer service
  • Provides appropriate background information and potential resolutions to issues
  • May review work performed in sample management for accuracy relative to appropriate SOP
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Validating sample administrative information prior to reporting of results and maintenance of files that permit proper documentation of the samples.
  • Generation of sample test report results according to the requirements of laboratory policy.
  • Communicating approved results to the customer according to predetermined customer requirements.
  • Generation of customer invoices, which accurately reflect services performed.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of commercial work experience
  • Must be willing to adhere to attendance and PTO policies
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use a variety of computer applications for data analysis
  • Ability to identify and communicate department needs to supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results on both short term and long term goals
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information


Position is Full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Wenatchee, WA are encourage to apply.
