Summary of Position

We're looking for a dynamic individual with drive, excellent written and verbal communication skills, reading comprehension proficiency and the ability to manage a varied and busy workload to grow with the CTM team. The successful applicant will be writing, customizing and editing formal proposals and persuasive pitch decks in support of internal sales team members with whom you will frequently collaborate. The proposal packages we create are designed to entice organizations of all size and scope with considerable business travel spend. This is a critical inside support position and acts as part of a national team, supporting our commercial team through the end-to-end sales lifecycle.


This is a great opportunity for new industry entrants or those with some travel experience. If you are tech savvy, have a background in business writing, and are eager to join a bright and collaborative team, you may be the perfect fit.


Preference given for applicants near CTM’s Omaha, Boston, Denver, or Seattle locations, though virtual candidates will be considered (US only).


Responsibilities and Duties

As a key member of our national sales support team, you will provide critical strategic and logistic support to aid our sales team in communicating our value proposition to a diverse set of potential customers. Critical responsibilities will include:

  • Complete customized responses and related documentation for formal Requests for Proposal and competitive sales engagements (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) that communicate our value proposition and service offering. This will include proposal responses, cover letters, Executive Summaries, and supporting documents.
  • Customize sales presentations to communicate our value proposition and service offering. This will include power point presentations, meeting strategy, demonstration approaches, and supporting materials as needed.
  • Proposal and document management from conception to final delivery of bid packages (research, collaboration, editing, and successfully meeting strict internal and external deadlines).
  • Proof reading to an exceptional standard to include grammatical, technical and brand accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining response library, databases, and resource materials as needed.
  • Assist with other sales enablement materials as needed, such as ad hoc presentations, topical documents, technical samples, cold calling scripts, qualification materials, and other materials to support competitive and non-competitive new business opportunities.
  • Act as collaborative member of our sales enablement team driving compelling content, working closely with CTM subject matter experts and CTM Marketing teams to communicate CTM’s value proposition internally and externally.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Acrobat, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Travel industry experience preferred
