Ferguson is now seeking an associate ready to step into a Sales Project Management role and become an integral part of the Southeast District Projects Team.

This role is an intermediate to senior level position for projects. This associate will report directly to the Sales Manager – Projects and will focus on the execution of awarded projects. The Business Development & Sales Teams will primarily handle estimating and quoting for budget and buy opportunities. Once a purchase order or contract is secured there will be a coordinated handoff to the Project Management side of our team. Order entry, securing additional PO’s, customer communications, jobsite coordination’s, branch communication, managing vendors & ensuring the customer has a great experience on their project are some of the primary tasks of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Carries out Appliance project work and manage all aspects of a project, from start to finish, ensuring that it is completed on time and within budget
  • This role will be located in Southwest FL (Ft. Myers/Naples)
  • Collaborate directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations
  • Participate in project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
  • Work closely with Sales team to ensure accuracy in quote, submittal and coordinate buyout
  • Use and maintain Smartsheet and/or BidTracer, Updates Summary and Tracker, Manages orders
  • Develop knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers by working closely with more experienced brand/product managers
  • Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs
  • Responsible for ordering product and negotiating costs for product
  • Manage execution of project in accordance with organization's project management methodology according to established project plan
  • Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project
  • Establish, maintain, and develop effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
  • Coordinate installation and delivery and hold installers accountable for the quality and completion of the information, pictures, and delivered/not delivered items
  • Work closely with Project Coordinator on final mile, punch list, warranty and close out for major appliance projects
  • Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of construction sales, project management, or project coordinator experience, required
  • Prior experience with appliances, highly preferred
  • Experience managing project schedules and client / vendor relationships, required
  • Prior use of BidTracer or similar estimating software, a plus
  • Knowledge of construction project cycle, preferred
  • Experience reading blueprints, building plans or drawings, highly preferred
  • Strong computer proficiency including use of Microsoft applications and navigating multiple software systems, required
  • Ability to function optimally without daily oversight from management.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to juggle multiple, urgent requests
  • Proven organization skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • Demonstrated analytical and negotiation skills

    Pay Range:

      $5,750.00 - $10,250.00

        Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

          This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
