Summary: This position is for an individual that has experience collaborating and connecting multiple teams to improve the efficiency of all teams involved, and to improve the experience that we offer our employees, customers, and vendors. Prompt and accurate communication with our customers and vendors is critical to our continued success as a company, and we pride ourselves on the relationships that we have built over the last 20 years but know that we can always do better. As a small company, we often times are provided the opportunity to work outside of our core competency, expanding our skillsets and keeping work varied and interesting, while giving us a much better understanding of how everything within the company works through the eyes of other departments.
Time utilization: This position is 95% onsite at our Omaha, NE office, with the remaining 5% attributable to travel where the associate will attend and present at trade shows with our leaders and/or meet with customers alongside our sales staff. Normal hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. While rare, weekends & evenings may be required occasionally to meet the demands of the business.
Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with previous experience and proven results in a similar position. Additional consideration may be provided if the associate is fluent in Spanish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as warranted):
- Create sales presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines.
- Stay abreast of market research to determine if there are viable market segments that we are structured to penetrate.
- Draft & publish market literature to increase Stone Enterprises’ visibility in domestic and international markets, working with translation & print companies to accomplish this goal.
- Perform costing research to determine the appropriate acquisition cost for parts & equipment that we use in our manufacturing processes and to determine competitive rates for our products released to market.
- Utilize market research to provide our customers the best possible prices and experiences to build mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
- Report on our inventory backlog & order pipelines, creating trend reports to allow for deeper insight into our operations.
- Track & present on internal data & metrics to identify opportunities for sales process improvement and prepare trend reports to relay period-over-period results to management.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field with exposure to sales & marketing preferred; experience can be substituted for a formal education depending on its relevance.
Ability to read and interpret blue-prints, part specifications and material specifications. Ability to provide quality feedback to functional groups inside the organization. Ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Language Ability: Ability to create, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of associates of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts, as well as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced skills in Excel & PowerPoint, specifically flow chart creation with step-tracking and forecasting.
Certificates and Licenses: Current valid driver’s license.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and machinery. The noise level in the work environment varies from low to usually moderate. It is essential that all safety rules and measures are being observed at all times, including wearing PPE as appropriate when working in the shop.
Physical Demands: This position is primarily a sedentary position where the associate will spend much of their time sitting. The associate may also regularly need to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds as part of their research responsibilities. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The associate will be required regularly to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. The associate will occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb, or balance.
