About You
- Extensive experience leading team(s) of In-Home Sales
- Experience in and an understanding of basic Construction Concepts (grades, elevations, measuring, etc.).
- A strong understanding and comfort level with Technology (email, CRM Systems, etc.).
- You love healthy Competition amongst your peers.
- Strong Leadership Abilities: You’re driven by a desire to lead a team to success through your coaching as well as encourage friendly competition to drive results.
- Great Communicator: You excel in all forms of communication especially when it comes to dealing with your team.
- Personable: You’re known for your outgoing personality and professionalism.
- Creative Problem Solver: You love the idea of helping homeowners fulfill their outdoor living dreams through projects that add lasting value and beauty.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Sales Manager you would be responsible for the following:
- Managing a team mixed with veteran and green sales staff – help motivate and inspire the team to hit their goals
- Driving team to bring in revenue
- Tracking the results and successes of the sales team
- Reporting and tracking of the metrics of the department – this will be light administrative work as the goal is to be out in front of the team acting as the motivator
- Overseeing the daily workflow of the sales team
- Interviewing, hiring and mentoring new employees
- Conducting ride along/shadowing appointments with sales representatives
- Running appointments in addition to the managerial responsibilities
- If you are good at coaching, training, and motivating sales representatives and bringing about improvement then this might be a fit for you!
Experience & Skills:
- Successful proven Outside Sales experience: In-home sales (Required)
- Successful proven Sales Manager experience: In-home sales (Required)
- Basic Construction Knowledge
- Have a lot of GRIT and do what it takes to make things happen
- Strong creative or design experience
- Very resourceful personality
- Consider yourself a “people person”
- High integrity, ethics, and a positive mindset
- Display a commitment to self-development/self-improvement
- Coach-able and open to new ideas
- Enjoys working with a team that has a strong culture and then adding to it
- Bachelor’s degree a Plus
