Responsibilities:

  • Professional customer service and expansion of business relationships - including responsibility for sales of the products supported in the cockpit / infotainment electronics sector;
  • Development and implementation of a strategy to expand the customer portfolio. Creating a network at the customer's site, understanding customer processes, customer challenges and developing entry opportunities;
  • Control of the quotation process - from the preparation of the quotation to the conduct of negotiations and the conclusion of the contract, in close cooperation with the departments involved (engineering, controlling, production, etc.);
  • Planning and implementation of activities according to the Target Business List and identification of new projects;
  • Commercial change management (internal coordination, change costs, price negotiations, etc.);
  • Preparation and implementation of product/project presentations and regular management reports;
  • Analysis and active development of improvement measures and innovation requirements regarding products and processes;
  • Observation of the competition and contact with all relevant customer internal departments / teams;
  • Coordination with the global network of the VW Group and within the global Visteon infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, economics or a comparable field;
  • You have several years of professional experience in technical sales or project management;
  • You have very good knowledge in the product area of automotive (cockpit) electronics or infotainment as well as in the development processes in the automotive industry;
  • Profound experience in negotiation, customer and project management;
  • You have a good technical understanding;
  • You convince the customer with your presentation skills;
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, coupled with initiative and assertiveness;
  • Strong planning and organizational skills;
  • You have a certain willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
  • Business fluent written and spoken German and English;
